Alshon had offers from great football programs such as South Carolina, Tennessee, FSU, Alabama, and others. Jeffery had a MVP season and at the same time, improved his grades. Jeffery verbally committed to the USC Trojans in early June of 2008. During the fall, Alshon had a monstrous senior year. He caught 35 passes for 740 yards and 14 TDs with 3 kick returns for scores.
